this morning i am awake and listening in bed. there is a young married couple sitting on the living room floor playing with each other's feet and they slowly come to the conclusion that today is a good day to feed the ducks before breakfast. then the door opens and thunder happens and the door closes and i crawl out of bed in my flannel pajamas and play jolly old saint nicholas on the piano.
the dinosaurs laughed loudly that day
